Virender Sehwag goes on to make big Test Match Hundreds
Thursday, August 21, 2008 : Legends, Tests
Since Virender Sehwag scored his first 2 centuries (105 and 106) he has gone on to score big test match hundreds, including 3 doubles and 2 triples. His last 11 centuries have been turned into 150's at least. In each of those matches India have lost only once (Australia), won 4 and drawn 7.
For England, Ian Bell, Alastair Cook, Andrew Strauss and even KP could take a leaf out of Sehwag's book.
However, Sehwag is a remarkable cricketer. He holds the record for the fastest triple century in Test cricket (278 balls) and is the only Indian to score a triple century in Test cricket. He is one of only 3 players to have scored two triple hundreds in Tests (Don Bradman
and Brian Lara
being the others).
