England Failed to Utilise the Batting Power Play
Thursday, November 20, 2008 : Reference, England
England failed to utilise the Batting Power Play in the 3rd ODI 2008 at Kanpur. England took only 21 runs from the 4 over batting power play whereas India managed 38. This difference was reflected in the 16 run winning margin. India bowled their 2 top seamers. England probably should have done the same in bowling Flintoff and Broad for 2 overs each. However Pietersen went with bowling Swann out with his last over which went for 14.
