Cricket Legend Sir Vivian RichardsViv Richards was voted as the third of five Cricketers of the Century in 2000. Wisden to have played the best One Day International (ODI) innings of all time, his remarkable 189* out of a West Indian total of 272. He is a member of the select club who have scored 100 hundreds in first-class cricket.

He is also the scorer of the fastest-ever Test century, from just 56 balls against England in Antigua during the 1986 tour. He hit 84 sixes in test cricket and his highest innings of 291 is sixth on the list of West Indies' highest individual scores.

Viv Richards scored 8,540 Test runs in 121 matches at an average of 50.23, including 24 centuries and 45 fifties. Richards also scored 5 centuries in World Series Cricket between 1977-79 that are not recognised by the ICC. He also played 187 ODIs at an average of 47.00 with 11 hundreds and 45 fifties.

Known as the Master Blaster or simply The King, Viv had an aura about him. His swagger to the wicket must have struck fear into any opposition bowler.
