Shane Warne's Century - New BookCricketers wish to be judged by their fellow players and not necessarily by authors and media pundits. If you appear in Shane Warne's new book 'Shane Warne's Century' then you have earned the respect of one of the games greatest ever players. In his new book he lists the 100 players who have had the most significant impact on his cricketing life. I'm sure SK Warne's one regret in cricket would be not to have scored a century for Australia (highest score 99), hence the ironic title.

Shane Warne's Century is a must-read for all cricket fans. Let's cut to the chase... Sachin Tendulkar is top of his list.

Unsurprisingly it also features many, many Australians with Border, McGrath, Ponting, Taylor and Healy all in the top ten. His great rival for the title of 'greatest spinner ever', Muttiah Muralitharan, is at #7.

Rather surprisingly, only one Englishman, Graham Gooch, makes the top 25 (not Mike Gatting?). Kevin Pietersen is down at a lowly #33 and Michael Vaughan at #54. As for Ian Bell... well The Shermanator can only improve in Warney's eyes.

Shane Warne's new book is available from Amazon.
