If only Cricket had a few more Ian Holloways. We have Bumble, Phil Tufnell and even Billy Bowden, but none of the International or County coaches are as barking as Ian Holloway.
Every time Ian Holloway gives an interview, then look out! Packed with passion, anger, Bristolianisms, the odd joke, anger and a bit more anger, it is nothing if not entertaining. Please Andy Hurry, Mike Newell, Martyn Moxon, Andy Flower get someone else to do post-match interviews who has been to the same Media School at Ollie.
Ian Holloway, unlike X Factor’s Wagner, does make sense though. I don’t want to watch 2 Italian teams, managed by Italian managers, playing Italian tac-tics playing out a cagey, dull game of cat and mouse. No!, not even Channel 4 shows Italian football anymore, so why do we put up with it in the Premiership. Thank God for teams like Blackpool, who want to win, want to entertain and have a damn good go at doing both.
Thank God for Ian Holloway.
