Cricinfo provide cool down-loadable desktop widgets that allow you access to the latest cricket news, international scores and photos. The widget sits on your system tray or desktop and provides periodic alerts.
The installation process is straight forward. You are asked to elect your location and the country team you follow. Once installed the software sits in your system tray, from where you can activate it to run as a ticker on your screen or just allow the news alerts to appear. These can be clicked on for the full story.
In addition you can add further RSS feeds such as the BBC cricket feed.
