Clive Lloyd is a true cricket legend, as the first West Indian to play 100 Tests scoring 7,515 Test runs at an average of 46.67 with a top score of 247 not out. He was captain for both of the West Indies victories in the ICC Cricket World Cup in 1975 and 1979 as well as a run of 26 undefeated Tests.

As a captain he was renowned for his emphasis on discipline which stood him in good stead for a post-playing career as an ICC Match Referee. Lloyd's son plays in goal for the Guyanese national football team.
