Bizarre Cricket Dismissals: 10 Weird Ways to be Out
Sunday, August 17, 2008 : Reference, Extras
Here are 10 weird and bizarre cricket dismissals. My favourite is Michael Clarke. For a bet, he must have played short straw shots with Punter where Ricky
got the glorious pull shot and Clarkey got the leave.
- Michael Clarke leaves a straight ball but as it was in New Zealand at least there was nobody there to see it.
- AB De Villiers makes a spectacular run-out and picks up his specs all in one movement.
- Even Sachin Tendulkar has the occasional brain-freeze.
- It's usually his running between the wickets that is a problem for Inzy.
- For poor old Chris Read, it doesn't get any better the more times you see it.
- Sorry Brendon but I think that's just plain wrong.
- Daryl Cullinan's father must have been a sub-mariner - up persicope
. - Inzy taking every opportunity to get some batting practice in.
- Brendon McCullum again. He should have taken longer to take the bails off and teased the batsman a little.
- Great by Symonds - 'Clarkey you owe me a beer mate!'
